Holiday Round-Up Holiday Round-Up

Hip Hip Hooray Holidays

The holidays have come and gone. This brings a sigh of relief and reminds me that birthdays are right around the corner! What to start working on…the list is always long!

The MacKay Way has been involved in this home renovation (the DUST!) and thus the holiday gifts needed to be pared down and simple in order to have time for completion across the board.

Children got Adjustable Art Aprons made from laminated cotton. Wipeable, so great for doing painting and messy projects! Adults in large part got adjustable aprons of one ilk or another. I’ve already been told the aprons have come in handy! Yeah!!!

One lucky recipient got a wrap that I hand fringed two ends of while hand rolling and hand sewing up the other two edges. I adored this wrap (she almost didn’t get it!) It’s light weight but large, so it’s perfect as a lap blanket on an airplane, a shawl at a concert or a scarf in cold weather!

There were also two pairs of nearly identical fingerless gloves given to replace older pairs that had either been lost or worn through.

What’s next? Wait and See! 2013 will be a VERY busy year!
